STAT PRE PS is specially designed for use with the SCHERTLER STAT series of pickups for bowed string instruments. It can also be used with other compatible pickups.
Featuring a single input and output, plus a volume control, the compact Class A preamp powered via an external 24VDC transformer is easy to use and ideal for live performance situations where amplification of string instruments is required. The transformer’s 24V provides superior dynamics while ensuring faithful reproduction of the instrument’s sound. The STAT PRE’s rugged aluminum casing allows it to be placed on the floor or attached to a belt using a separately available clip.
STAT PRE PS is available as a stand-alone preamplifier and is not included in STAT SET pickup packages.
