Part of Larrivee’s Rosewood Legacy Series, the D-44R enhances the beloved features of the D40 platform with a new deluxe high-gloss finish. The D-44R boasts the company’s Scalloped Parabolic Hybrid bracing system for maximum soundboard vibration, but with controlled low-end response. This mighty, all-solid-wood dreadnought acoustic guitar was built from spruce-topped rosewood, with a hand-fit dovetail joint for a lock-tight fit and optimal sustain. The D-44R is eminently playable, courtesy of its comfortable mahogany neck and smooth ebony fingerboard. You also get a whole host of high-end appointments, including a bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard inlays, and 18:1 open-back tuners. The Larrivee D-44R comes garlanded with maple Bold Rope binding, a Bold Rope rosette, a tortoise pickguard, and an attention-grabbing satin finish.
