Engelmann Spruce is white and smooth in appearance. A naturally mature sounding wood, it gives a guitar an older, more played in sound to a new guitar.
Koa from Hawaii is dark, beautifully figured, rare and expensive. It combines the best qualities of the finest tonewoods with the brilliance of maple, the warmth and complexity of Rosewood and the response of mahogany. Crafter have a limited inventory of this wonderful tonewood and use it to make small quantities of custom guitars.
