First built in the mid 70s, Jean Larrivee's 'recipe' reached perfection with the first L09 - originally known as the 09 Standard Series.  40 years later, not much has changed.  A perfect combination of rosewood back and sides, sitka spruce top and powered by Jean's legendary X-Brace system, the 09 Series delivers a powerful, yet balanced, dynamic range.

Whether in the studio or live, flat-picking or strumming, this true American workhorse offers all the response and the tone you will need. Standard features include JCL 18:1 tuners, maple trim throughout, and abalone rosette.
