The NU 67 V power supply generates the operating voltages for all U 67 tube microphone. This classical power supply unit contains a mains transformer. It automatically switches between the 100-120 V and 220-240 V ac mains voltage ranges. Mains power is connected through a standard IEC 320 C14 socket. The microphone connects via a UC 5 cable. The microphone signal is fed to a XLR 3 M connector. The modulation output is transformer balanced.
The unit works with current limiting, effecting a soft start of the tube. The UC 5 cable between microphone and power supply can be up to 50 m long. Modulation cable lengths up to approx. 300 m in total are allowed. Three mains power cables enclosed, for EU, UK, and US sockets.
